Near the Government Center, in a beautiful, relaxed home studio setting with safe, easy parking.  Address given when a lesson or meet & greet is scheduled.  Walking path & grassy lawn available for parents with younger siblings or for those who like to enjoy a peaceful walk while their child learns.

Satellite location: Ventura Music Factory, 4531 Market Street, Ventura, CA 93003 available for lessons. 

Seating for one parent or accompanying adult during the lesson is available.     

When music learners experience the joy of self-discipline and the satisfaction of accomplishment, they develop good character as an accompanying benefit!  

We offer the opportunity to:

"I love teaching, guiding & inspiring kids of all ages—from age 5 to 108—through music," says owner & teacher, Connie Mason.  Inspired by her musical, dance-loving grandmother who lived a happy, healthy 108 years, Grandma Zelda always said, "Music and laughter keeps me young." Experiencing music with her family & friends has been a wonderful joy—and Connie, in turn, shares that joy with others to make this world a little more wonderful, one note at a time.

offers private music lessons

for ages 5 to adult.

Students are guided through structured music education at their own level & their own pace.  Weekly lessons & take-home assignments are custom made for each student.  

Instruments used in lessons:

• acoustic upright studio grand Yamaha piano

• djembe, bongos, hand drums
• other hand percussion from around the world
• glockenspiel

Curriculum includes:

• "Music Share" performances are held throughout the year. They are similar to recitals, but less formal & more fun! Participation is not required, only encouraged. We also usually have a potluck & some additional fun, musical activity or guest performers.  In our "Music Family," we enjoy building community & relationships.
